Protesters held a demonstration on July 6, 2006 outside the UN against the Israeli attack on Gaza. A letter signed by 100 organizations from around the world was delivered to Kofi Annan's office asking the UN to take measures to protect the Palestinians from the violations of international law going on in Gaza. Orthodox Jews against Zionism were part of the demonstration condemning the actions of the state of Israel.
